The two deer were shot by my two neighbors during the annual deer season. Both were taken with bow and arrow last week.

I've seen way too many of these creatures dead in the past two weeks. I am not a hunter myself, other than with a camera, but it is necessary as many will either be hit by motor vehicles or starve over the winter if the herd is not thinned. But it is still sad to see. I hope at least, that most hunters will use the meat to help feed their families.
